Repsol, Petronor, and Bosch have signed a letter of intent to investigate joint venture opportunities in Spain’s renewable hydrogen value chain.
The three firms have highlighted areas of focus in mobility, industrial, and home use.
This program is part of Repsol and Petronor’s aim to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 in accordance with the Paris Agreement’s and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals’ criteria.
Hydrogen has enormous potential in the future of mobility, providing a genuine boost to decarbonization and net zero emissions from technological neutrality. Additionally, the potential of combustion engines implies the continuation of the automobile sector and the current vehicle fleet on our roadways. Similarly, the mobility of trains, buses, and vessels has a sustainable and viable development under this concept.
It is thus another step toward boosting the hydrogen industry’s development initiatives and reaffirming its commitment to the Basque Hydrogen Corridor’s consolidation.
