Recurrent Energy has received approval from the Mississippi Public Service Commission on the build-transfer (BTA) with Entergy Mississippi for the Sunflower solar project.
The largest solar power plant in the state of Mississippi, the 100 megawatt Sunflower solar photovoltaic project has a base purchase price of approximately $138.4 million.

Recurrent Energy, a Canadian Solar subsidiary, will develop the project that will use modules from Canadian Solar and single axis-trackers.
It is expected that the plant will begin commercial operation by mid-2022, allowing the regulated utility to power more than 16.000 homes with clean electricity.
