Denmark to make green hydrogen in Tehuantepec Isthmus
According to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, as part of the concessions made in the 10 development poles of the Interoceanic Corridor, Denmark will manufacture green hydrogen in the Tehuantepec Isthmus.
The aforementioned is verified by the announcement that the Interoceanic Train, which will run 300 kilometers from the port of Salina Cruz in Oaxaca to Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, on December 22, will be inaugurated. This industrial corridor is being constructed along this route.
Hydrogen UK names Ørsted and Centrica members as co-Vice-Presidents
Olivia Breese of Ørsted and William Mezzullo of Centrica have been named as co-Vice-Presidents of Hydrogen UK.
As Ørsted’s CEO and Senior Vice-President, Region Europe and Power-2-X, Breese has extended the company’s renewable energy portfolio to include North America and the Asia-Pacific area in addition to Northern Europe.
Mezullo, the head of hydrogen at Centrica, is now the chair of the member forum for hydrogen and biomethane at the Renewable Energy Association and a member of the Production Working Group of the Hydrogen Delivery Council, a body established by the UK government.
Vaillant’s hydrogen boiler prototype installed by MRG in Spain
A building in Madrid, Spain recently received the Vaillant company’s boiler prototype and went into service. This is situated in a room used by MRG staff members as a rest area. This experiment will show whether using hydrogen in a building’s heating system is feasible. In actuality, this gadget is made to run entirely on hydrogen, safely and without producing any carbon emissions. Based on its designer’s specifications, it provides 25 kW of electricity. Its proportions and design are derived from current natural gas boilers.
