Symbio chooses Michelin tires for hydrogen-powered truck
Two years after launching the “H2 Central Valley Express” project, Symbio presents a hydrogen-powered, regional-haul Class 8 truck that was designed, manufactured, and integrated in California. It is equipped with Michelin next-generation EV-specific tires, which provide better fuel economy and less wear.
The goal of the Symbio “H2 Central Valley Express” project is to create and showcase a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle that can operate on par with a 15-liter diesel vehicle, offering an emission-free option for hard-working regional haul trucking companies.
SWITCH Maritime gets US Coast Guard approval for hydrogen ferry commercial ops
The US Coast Guard has given the US-based shipping business SWITCH Maritime permission to begin commercial operations with its hydrogen-powered ferry, Sea Change.
As stated, Captain Taylor Q. Lam, the Captain of the Port and head of U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Francisco, signed the Certificate of Inspection (COI) and gave it to the firm for its flagship hydrogen ferry.
