The German industrial company Thyssenkrupp Nucera has appointed Werner Ponikwar as CEO, effective July 1, as part of a board reorganization in preparation for an upcoming IPO.
When Ponikwar was at Linde Hydrogen FuelTech, he was the company’s managing director. Nucera has promoted Denis Krude to the position of COO and deputy CEO.
Previously known as Uhde Chlorine Engineers, Nucera manufactures electrolysers for the production of green hydrogen, a product in high demand by businesses looking to reduce their impact on the environment.
