thyssenkrupp Uhde, in collaboration with DL E&C and CARBONCO, has been chosen by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners P/S (CIP) to spearhead the pre-FEED for the Murchison green ammonia project in Kalbarri, Western Australia. This giga-watt-scale venture aims to harness onshore wind and solar energy for green hydrogen and green ammonia production.

The primary objective of the pre-FEED is to refine the technical concept and initiate crucial engineering activities for the ammonia plant. thyssenkrupp Uhde’s dynamic uhde® ammonia synthesis technology, tailored for dynamic ammonia production challenges, will be at the forefront. The company will also provide integration engineering for the entire facility, paving the way for Murchison Hydrogen Renewables to progress through subsequent commercial and regulatory phases.
