The Technical University (TU) Clausthal launched a test field for the creation of green hydrogen in Goslar. The system ought to function more effectively than earlier ones.

They claim that this facility has a far smaller so-called stack than is typical, which is the center of hydrogen generation. Its task is to electrolyze water to separate oxygen and hydrogen. The stack in the Goslar location is roughly the size of a pallet. Comparable gadgets, on the other hand, were cumbersome to move and many meters long. In Goslar, the stack will now be put to the test.

Clausthal receives federal funding for hydrogen research

Everywhere big quantities of hydrogen are required, such as in major chemical firms and steel factories, the system may be of interest. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research has allocated several million euros to the initiative.
