Customers receive FORVIA Type IV hydrogen tanks

The first Type IV hydrogen tanks from FORVIA are now being distributed from their Allenjoie, France, manufacturing facility.

The facility, which aims to build 100,000 tanks a year, serves the European market’s automobile and hydrogen distribution and storage businesses.

Customers like Stellantis, Hyvia, and MAN anticipate the supply of solutions for mobility applications, and the company plans to lower production costs by 5% between 2023 and 2025 by streamlining processes and excelling in industrialization.

The Type IV tanks that make up the Large-Scale Hydrogen Storage Solutions will also be manufactured at the FORVIA plant and sent to AirFlow for distribution and deployment.

Posifa Technologies attends Sensors Converge Expo

Leading supplier of cutting-edge sensor solutions Posifa Technologies announced its attendance at the next Sensors Converge Expo, which will be held June 21–22 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California. The business will display its cutting-edge technology in booth 853 including vacuum gauges and hydrogen sensors, which provide superior detection capabilities and unmatched performance.

Posifa will present its tools for identifying thermal runaway in battery management systems (BMS) and refrigerant leaks in HVAC systems at Sensors Converge. These solutions, which are based on the company’s MEMS hydrogen sensor technology, precisely measure the change in thermal conductivity of the gas mixture inside BMS and HVAC compartments. This technology ensures compliance with safety regulations by enabling quicker reaction times for activating battery failure alarms in electric vehicles (EVs) and active leak detection of new low global warming potential A2L refrigerants in HVAC systems. Posifa’s highly reproducible, high-volume CMOS MEMS technology underpins their inexpensive, dependable, and space-saving sensors.

Algeria-EU: Renewable Hydrogen Expert Workshop

According to a statement from the ministry, the European Union (EU) and the Ministry of Energy and Mines are working together to organize an expert workshop on the growth of the renewable hydrogen industry in Algiers on Tuesday.

According to the ministry, the workshop’s agenda includes three panel discussions that will cover strategies for the use of renewable hydrogen in Algeria and the EU by 2030 and 2050, rules and incentives for hydrogen development, and infrastructure for transportation, distribution, and storage.

GenHydro’s first commercial reactor system powers Burle Industrial Park enterprises

GenHydro, a clean hydrogen and renewable energy firm, ignited its first commercial reactor system to power Burle Industrial Park enterprises.

GenHydro inventor and CEO Eric Schraud claimed his team built a cost-effective, scalable power plant that transforms aluminum scrap into hydrogen and delivers renewable clean energy.

He added GenHydro’s modular “Clean Energy Plants” turn waste aluminum into high-value, renewable products.

Absolut Hydrogen joins Ocean Highway Cluster

Absolut Hydrogen, a pioneer in liquid hydrogen for energy and transportation, has joined the Ocean Highway Cluster.

Manufacturers who want to utilise liquid hydrogen as an energy carrier for usage in vehicles (on the ground or in the air) but are constrained by storability issues can turn to Absolut Hydrogen for technological solutions.

Founded in 2021, Absolut Hydrogen is a French technical and industrial SME with headquarters in Grenoble. The business is a spinoff from Absolut System, which has more than 13 years of experience developing cryogenic systems. Absolut Hydrogen offers hydrogen liquefication solutions and other systems that allow the use of liquid hydrogen with a variety of liquefiers, on-site manufacturing, storage, and more by utilizing the cryogenic knowledge.
