Jordan launches green ammonia feasibility studies
According to the terms of the agreement of understanding agreed with the Jordanian Company in October 2023, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources obtained the feasibility studies for green ammonia. Minister Al-Kharabsheh restated the goal of economic modernization in the presence of the Ministry’s Secretary-General, Eng. Amani Al-Azzam. He emphasized the need to fund green hydrogen production projects in Jordan in order to draw in quality investments, bolster the country’s economy, and lower unemployment rates.
In accordance with the Crown Prince’s and His Majesty King Abdullah II’s instructions, Minister Al-Kharabsheh emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to supporting investors in the mining and energy industries. He commended the Ministry for spearheading the push to export green energy from Jordan and establish the nation as a hub for the production and export of hydrogen in the region.

Democratic candidate Lujan Grisham announced in a news release that she will be leading a delegation to an industry summit exposition in the port city of Rotterdam in order to pursue the “opportunity to sell New Mexico as a dynamic and thriving place for hydrogen industry investment.”
