Genevos supplies hydrogen fuel cells for small-scale fishing vessels
Two of Genevos’ HPM 40kW hydrogen fuel cell power systems will be supplied in order to help small-scale fishing vessels decarbonize.
Genevos is now a member of the H2-SEAS Consortium, which receives funding from the Horizon Europe Framework Programme HORIZON. In addition to gas storage systems, integration design, and installation, Genevos will provide “marine-certified” fuel cells.
The 12 m fishing vessel powered by a 100kW engine will be designed, built, and operationally demonstrated as part of the partnership. Results from an environmental impact assessment will be made available by the consortium via the European Marine Observation and Data network (EMODnet).
