IAI and MT Aerospace partner for advanced hydrogen applications
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and MT Aerospace AG outlines the businesses’ cooperation in the area of advanced hydrogen applications.
The parties will collaborate on the development, design, manufacture, and testing of alternative propulsion systems based on hydrogen for manned commercial aircraft and unmanned military drone systems, according to the conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed at the ILA 2024 show in Berlin.
Furthermore, IAI and MT Aerospace AG will collaborate to evaluate the feasibility of decentralized hydrogen-based combined heat and power.
