Oriana Power to build gigawatt-scale factory to produce alkaline electrolysers
Oriana Power announced that it would construct a gigawatt-scale factory to produce Balance of Plant (BOP) modules and alkaline electrolysers.
The plant will open in two stages, the first of which will produce 500 MW of electrolysers annually and is anticipated to begin operations in 2026.
German automaker is beginning customer trials
For a one-year trial period, the German automaker is beginning customer trials of its hydrogen fuel cell truck, the Mercedes-Benz GenH2 Truck. By 2039, the German automaker wants to offer only new CO2-neutral vehicles in Europe, the US, and Japan. To that end, it will concentrate on hydrogen with the heavy-duty truck, the Mercedes-Benz GenH2 Truck, which is outfitted with a hydrogen fuel cell.
