Ukraine and Germany will collaborate on the production of “green” hydrogen. Ukrhydroenergo has inked a cooperation agreement with German partners.
Now, Ukrhydroenergo is working on a pilot project with the German businesses Andritz Hydro and MAN Energy Solutions to build a 1 MW green hydrogen electrolysis plant.”
In order to develop and implement projects for the generation of green hydrogen in Ukraine, PJSC Ukrhydroenergo and German businesses Andritz Hydro and MAN Energy Solutions signed an agreement of understanding. A pilot project to establish an electrolysis plant for the generation of green hydrogen with a capacity of 1 MW is being explored and is now in the works. We’re talking about a daily output of 100 kg of hydrogen.
Ukraine exports electricity to Europe
Ukraine began exporting power to Poland and Moldova despite the war. It also managed to fully provide itself with energy at the same moment.
