Walter Tosto has joined the “European Clean Hydrogen Alliance,” a project launched by the European Commission to provide the groundwork for the development of hydrogen-production technology derived from renewable or low-carbon sources.
The European Union intends to assume global leadership in the sector by bringing together the continent’s most important industrial and financial players around working tables and periodic forums, with the goal of maintaining its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, as required by the European Green Deal.
The EU predicts that an expenditure of roughly €430 billion will be required to pursue concrete targets for the production and commercialization of clean hydrogen by 2030.
The signature of the Alliance demonstrates Walter Tosto’s commitment to play a proactive role and engage in investment projects to fulfill the EU Hydrogen Strategy’s objectives.
In accordance with this pledge, Walter Tosto will make its expertise and knowledge in the engineering, design, and manufacture of crucial components available.
