GPS Renewables appoints principal advisor of green hydrogen vertical
GPS Renewables, a Bengaluru-based biofuels technology and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company, named Santanu Roy its Green Hydrogen vertical’s principal advisor.
Santanu Roy, Executive Director of Business Development, Corporate Affairs, and Sustainability of GAIL, retired after 30 years. He led Strategy & Planning, Projects Development, Total Quality Management, and the Centre of Business Excellence at GAIL for nearly a decade.
He helped GAIL create Strategy 2020 and the Net Zero strategy, bid for ONGC Tripura Power Company, and build the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda pipeline. He restructured Konkan LNG’s debt and equity and created new, sustainable business models for CBG (compressed biogas) through PPP, 1G Ethanol through JV, LNG by road, and hydrogen mixing in City Gas.
He also achieved Board approval for the PDH-PP plant and equity injection in several JVs, negotiated MOUs with the Ministry, and managed GAIL’s budgeting. He represented India and GAIL at COP 21 in Paris and was a nominated Director in several GAIL overseas JVs.
BayoTech delivers hydrogen transport trailer to Plug Power
A high-pressure gas transport trailer was recently supplied to a Tulsa business by Albuquerque-based BayoTech.
At its Tulsa factory, Plug Power received the HyFill bulk hydrogen transport trailer.
