In an attempt to explore the implementation of zero-emissions hydrogen HGV technology, White Logistics has teamed up with Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS).
The collaboration is encapsulated in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), providing White Logistics with vehicles for trials. This lets them test the vehicles on their delivery routes, enabling them to interact with hydrogen fueling equipment. The pact facilitates White Logistics in examining all aspects of hydrogen electric vehicle technology, the hydrogen infrastructure, refueling equipment, and sharing operational data for a successful trial introduction.
The trial could lead to partial conversion of the White Logistics fleet to these innovative, zero-emission HGVs. White Logistics, with more than 150 delivery vehicles and trailers, has aimed to decrease their carbon footprint through sustainable initiatives. The company’s CEO, Graeme White, has expressed excitement about following the latest developments in alternative fuels for their net zero ambitions.
