The president of the company says that Brazil has everything to be one of the main protagonists of this race and can come out ahead of neighboring countries due to large-scale production of renewable energy.

Starting next year, Brazil may start competing in the global green hydrogen market and White Martins is preparing for this moment, says the company’s president for South America, Gilney Bastos. In an interview with Broadcast, the executive said that the country has everything to be one of the main players in this race and may come out ahead of neighboring countries due to large-scale production of renewable energy.

White Martins has been in the Brazilian industrial gases market for 110 years and has recently inaugurated two plants to supply the pulp and paper industry. In addition, says Bastos, it expanded its operations in the now valued Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) when it bought at the end of last year the Petrobras’ share in Gás Local.
