The European Commission has approved State aid for IPCEI Hy2Move, the fourth Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) dedicated to hydrogen technologies for the transport sector.
Following this approval, the Ministry announced the release of over 22.2 million euros from the Fund to implement Italian investments associated with the project known as Hydrogen 4.
What is IPCEI Hy2Move?
IPCEI Hy2Move involves investment programs utilizing innovative technologies and hydrogen solutions in mobility and road, maritime, and air transport applications. The EU authorization was granted on May 28, coinciding with Brussels’ approval of the Med4Cure IPCEI for health. Similarly, at a national level, the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT) announced the activation of the Funds for the two IPCEIs – Hydrogen 4 and Health 1 – on the same day, September 6.
