Thanks to the $24 million Rural NSW – Business Case and Strategy Development Fund, the NSW Government will help the Committee for the Hunter realize its fantastic plans for a Hunter hydrogen industry.
Dave Layzell, a Nationals representative for the Upper Hunter, stated that the Fund will give support so that the Committee for the Hunter and the Hunter Hydrogen Taskforce may hire specialists to look at new project concepts and help with financing applications.
The regions, according to Deputy Premier and Minister for Rural NSW Paul Toole, are teeming with people with innovative ideas that have the potential to grow economies, attract investment, and generate jobs.
The money from the NSW Government to create a regional hydrogen infrastructure masterplan is welcomed by the Committee for the Hunter and the Hunter Hydrogen Taskforce.
The award accelerates important goals highlighted in the Hunter Hydrogen Roadmap and State aims in the NSW Hydrogen Plan, including shared infrastructure and workforce development, according to CEO Alice Thompson.
A pipeline of projects that are ready for investment will be developed with the aid of the Regional NSW – Business Case and Strategy Development Fund, which is a component of the $3.3 billion Regional Growth Fund.
