H2 Green Ltd, a subsidiary of Getech Group, has signed a non-binding strategic agreement with Element Two Limited to supply green hydrogen to their refueling stations.
Element Two is a hydrogen refueling station manufacturer and retailer based in the United Kingdom. With plans to deploy over 800 pumps onto the UK network by 2027 and 2000 by 2030, the company is investing in prime locations in the North of England, Scotland, and Ireland.
H2 Green is a developer of regional hydrogen hubs who is assessing the suitability of land assets in hundreds of locations across the UK to become city hydrogen hubs. H2 Green is working on a prioritized list of hubs where it will grow and operate green hydrogen processing, storage, and distribution.
This strategic partnership paves the way for Element Two and H2 Green to coordinate their development and delivery strategies through their respective land portfolios, with the aim of creating the UK’s first hydrogen network as quickly as possible.
H2 Green and Element Two have agreed to co-locate their respective hydrogen refueling stations, as well as their hydrogen development and storage assets.
The parties have agreed to a 12-month negotiation process as part of the strategic arrangement, with the aim of: agreeing and progressing a joint asset creation road map; building an initial demonstration project; and negotiating and concluding a binding long-term co-development and off-take deal.
As required, further updates on the status of the negotiations in relation to such binding documents will be made.
