Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov stated that Russia is prepared to coordinate the supply of “green” hydrogen to Finland within the next two years.
In his address at a meeting of the Russian-Finnish intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, the minister discussed the issue.
The parties believe that the development of hydrogen energy is a good area in which to go. On the basis of their Karelia facilities, “our firms will be ready to coordinate the production and delivery of” green “hydrogen to Finland within two years,” Manturov stated.
Furthermore, he highlighted that Russia has made significant advancements in carbon-free technology in industry, and in the shift to ecologically friendly modes of transportation, such as electric and hydrogen vehicles.
It is anticipated that serial manufacturing of commercial cars fueled by hydrogen would commence in 2023, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
