Next Hydrogen Corporation has signed an agreement with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and 40 other partners to develop a proposal for one of four clean hydrogen hubs under the US federal Clean Hydrogen Hubs program.
The initiative is part of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, according to Next Hydrogen Solutions Inc.’s release.
According to a release, the coalition’s objective is to take advantage of a $8 billion funding initiative from the US Department of Energy by establishing a clean, sustainable hydrogen economy in the Northeast.
In a statement, Raveel Afzaal, president and CEO of Next Hydrogen, stated, “We are pleased to contribute our unique technology and solutions experience to this momentous collection of partners who will work together to establish a clean hydrogen center in the US Northeast.”
