Oracle Energy Limited and Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with the goal of exploring hydrogen storage and refueling infrastructure potential as part of Oracle Energy’s 400MW green hydrogen project in Pakistan.
Highlights include a Memorandum of Understanding with a renowned and internationally recognized expert in liquid hydrogen vessels, hydrogen pressure devices, and hydrogen refueling stations to enable Oracle Energy’s 400MW green hydrogen project’s commercialization in Pakistan and beyond.
The parties will work together to look into hydrogen storage technologies to make it easier to get hydrogen to foreign markets including South Korea, Japan, China, and Europe.
Guofuhee will provide its hydrogen refueling solutions for both light and heavy-duty applications, complementing Oracle Energy’s home strategy in Pakistan, which is expected to focus on domestic mobility decarbonization.
“This is another important step forward in our effort to bring our 400MW green hydrogen project to fruition and establishes the basis for a road to the international commercialization of hydrogen,” said Oracle CEO Naheed Memon. We are well-positioned to move forward with the technical, financial, and commercial aspects of the Project, and deliver this ground-breaking opportunity for Pakistan to develop a significant, domestically produced, and affordable energy source with exceptional green credentials, thanks to His Highness Shaikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum, our 70 percent joint venture partner.
