The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has announced a strategic collaboration agreement between ADNOC, John Cockerill Hydrogen, and Strata Manufacturing, aimed at manufacturing electrolysers in the UAE for both domestic use and export.
The agreement aligns with the UAE’s “Make it in the Emirates” initiative, promoting local industry and creating an investor-friendly environment. By producing electrolysers, which generate green hydrogen from renewable sources without emitting carbon dioxide, the UAE aims to advance its green hydrogen economy and contribute to the global decarbonization effort.
The signing ceremony, witnessed by esteemed officials including His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, highlights the significance of this collaboration. The partnership brings together the expertise of ADNOC, a pioneer in clean hydrogen production, John Cockerill Hydrogen, a leader in large-scale green hydrogen solutions, and Strata Manufacturing, known for its advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, His Excellency Omar Al Suwaidi, emphasized the importance of accelerating the development of future industries and ensuring the national industrial sector benefits from innovative solutions and advanced technologies.
