XINTC’s LEGO-Style Electrolysers Transform Green Hydrogen Production

XINTC from Eerbeek is making waves with its groundbreaking approach to green hydrogen production. The company specializes in developing and building scalable, modular electrolysers designed to harness the power of renewable energy sources like wind and solar to create green hydrogen.

Green hydrogen, produced through the process of electrolysis, holds enormous potential as a clean and sustainable fuel for heavy transport and industrial processes. Unlike traditional hydrogen production methods that rely on fossil fuels, XINTC’s focus is on green hydrogen, where the electrical energy comes from renewable sources.

What sets XINTC apart is its innovative and eco-friendly approach. Their electrolysers are constructed entirely of plastic, avoiding the use of critical materials. Furthermore, these devices are uniquely suited to handle the dynamic nature of solar and wind energy, ensuring maximum efficiency in hydrogen production. This agility is achieved through the ‘multi-core’ design of the XINTC electrolyser, where multiple gas modules collaborate to convert electrical current into hydrogen molecules efficiently and sustainably.

Additionally, XINTC’s electrolysers are highly adaptable. Their modular design allows easy expansion by adding extra system modules. You can also fine-tune gas purity, power source, and output pressure by including additional system components. These standardized components act like LEGO blocks, enabling customized installations that precisely meet customer requirements.

One key advantage of XINTC’s electrolysers is their decentralization. Unlike traditional central electrolyser systems, XINTC’s technology can be installed virtually anywhere in the world. This decentralization enables on-site hydrogen production, which is particularly valuable for heavy transport solutions, including trucks, buses, ships, and trains. Additionally, the hydrogen produced can serve as a clean energy carrier or raw material for various industries.

XINTC’s innovative approach has not gone unnoticed. The company recently completed a successful financing round with investments from various sources. Oost NL, a fund manager of the ION+2 innovation fund, played a significant role in supporting XINTC’s development. Rick Mintjes, Energy Investment Manager at Oost NL, emphasized the importance of hydrogen as a sustainable energy carrier and the role of innovative technologies in reducing pollution in industry and heavy transport.

In addition to ION+2, a consortium led by the Goeie Grutten Impactfonds and two private investors also participated in the financing round, confirming XINTC’s promising technology. The newly acquired funds will help the company continue its development, scale up production facilities, and embark on commercial projects both domestically and internationally.

The East of the Netherlands is emerging as a hub for hydrogen-related innovations, and XINTC is at the forefront of this movement. Oost NL has played a crucial role in connecting the company with relevant parties and supporting its growth. XINTC previously received a voucher from De Groeiversneller Energie, which was used for a business case study in collaboration with greenhouse horticulture entrepreneurs. Last year, the company participated in the European STEPS program for innovations in energy storage.

With its modular, plastic-based electrolysers and commitment to green hydrogen production, XINTC is not only reshaping the hydrogen landscape but also contributing significantly to the global transition toward clean and sustainable energy solutions.
