Eta Space developing liquid hydrogen technology

A section of Eta Space, a global leader in cryogenic systems for space applications, is focused on developing liquid hydrogen technology for the coming era of energy. Based on increased demand from commercial customers interested in liquid hydrogen technologies unconnected to space program, this restructuring includes a new logo and tagline.

TECO 2030 and Umoe Mandal submit fuel cell vessel design for preliminary clearance

The world’s first fuel cell high-speed vessel design has received permission in principle from the Norwegian Maritime Authority, according to the documentation package recently presented by TECO 2030 and Umoe Mandal. The multimegawatt fuel cell system intended for installation aboard the vessel will provide complete propulsion.

The vessel will be built using Umoe Mandal’s tried-and-true Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) Surface Effect Ship (SES) technology. Its air-cushion catamaran design will have little environmental impact, especially in demanding and unstable oceanic circumstances. Offshore wind farms are frequently constructed, maintained, and run using CTVs. With a service speed of 35 knots, a minimum range of 160 nautical miles, and the capacity to accommodate 275 passengers, this particular vessel will be used for passenger travel.

Tata Motors showcasing environmentally friendly mobility at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024

Tata Motors is showcasing its dedication to environmentally friendly mobility at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, with an emphasis on its hydrogen-powered vehicles.

The Prima H.55S, an industry-first hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine (H2 ICE) truck intended for environmentally friendly cargo transportation, is on show.

In light of the potential effects of climate change, cleaner gasoline for cars is becoming more widely available. The ambitious goal set by the Indian government is to reduce the emissions intensity by 45% by the year 2030. Because it emits no emissions, hydrogen is emerging as one of the most environmentally beneficial fuel options, both during production and during use.

H2 – Hydrogen World Congress to be held in Valencia

It is anticipated that by 2050, the transportation and industrial sectors will consume 36% and 42% of the world’s clean hydrogen, respectively. The inaugural “H2 – Hydrogen World Congress” will be held in Valencia on February 14 and 15, 2024, as part of the eMobility Expo World Congress, in response to this trend.

In addition to providing a thorough overview of the hydrogen industry and its advantages in the sector, the congress—which is thought to be the largest on green hydrogen in Europe—will bring together over 180 specialists from around the globe to debate the role of hydrogen as an alternative energy source.
