Croatian DOK-ING makes hydrogen from organic waste

A device made by the Croatian business DOK-ING can make hydrogen from organic waste.

One of the most significant environmental issues of the day, according to Poslovni Dnevnik, is how to get rid of waste without putting people’s health at risk. We also have to cope with the stark contrast between individuals who would much rather compost and others who support the thermal gasification of nearly all waste types. It’s one of the most urgent problems affecting Croatian cities, Zagreb foremost.

Currently, one of the creative solutions that the EU approved is being presented practically right in front of our eyes. According to HRT, the renowned Croatian company DOK-ING has developed a “device for the production of hydrogen from organic residual material” in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering.


WardWizard showcases its first hydrogen-powered electric two-wheeler

At the inaugural Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, WardWizard Innovations and Mobility, a prominent producer of electric cars under the Joy e-bike brand, showcased the concept for its first hydrogen-powered electric two-wheeler.

The company unveiled its plan to add new and innovative EV models to its inventory while showcasing the ground-breaking idea of a high-speed electric scooter.

The company displayed the new electric three-wheeler under the Joy e-rik brand, as well as its current lineup of high and low speed versions, in addition to the new innovations.


Syzygy Plasmonics builds light-powered reactor for industrial chemical reactions

According to Syzygy Plasmonics, it has constructed the first light-powered reactor for industrial chemical reactions in history, and the reactor is available for purchase. The reactor was developed by Syzygy to manufacture hydrogen from ammonia.


FORVIA opens Faurecia (Shanghai) Hydrogen Solutions Holding

On February 3, Faurecia (Shanghai) Hydrogen Solutions Holding was officially opened by FORVIA, the seventh-largest automotive technology supplier in the world, which also operates HELLA. The event took place in the Jiading District of Shanghai.

By creating this new company, Faurecia hopes to grow its hydrogen energy business in China and promote R&D and the manufacturing of innovative products for hydrogen storage systems.


H2X Global gets new CEO

Antony Tolfts, the new CEO of H2X Global, has been named. With more than 20 years of expertise in the financial services industry, as well as experience serving as a director and company secretary of listed companies, Antony has a lengthy resume. Antony was most recently the CEO of Blu Horseshoe, a financial platform. Before that, Antony held important executive positions at Computershare and worked in listing and compliance for the Sydney Stock Exchange. Significantly, he has experience in the global market having worked for HSBC in Sri Lanka and India as well as Barclays Private Bank in London. On Monday, February 5th, Antony will take over as CEO.
