Hydrogen energy innovation at ITRI Net Zero Day 2024
The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) hosted the 2024 ITRI Net Zero Day in Taipei, with the aim of supporting businesses in transitioning to net-zero emissions. The event featured key innovations and successful case studies, with a focus on hydrogen energy and the importance of green financing. Noteworthy companies and organizations, including Nasdaq Stock Exchange, TÜV Rheinland, TSMC, and Techman Robot, came together to share their experiences about the net-zero transition.
ITRI Chairman Chih-Kung Lee highlighted the focus of the Institute on hydrogen energy, having established the Hydrogen Innovation Hub to encourage collaboration throughout the hydrogen supply chain. He also underlined the role of financial institutions in aiding the transition to net-zero emissions and the importance of monetizing intangible assets, such as net-zero patents, to encourage green financing and bolster competitiveness.
