AIS and INOXAP opens India’s first green hydrogen facility for glass sector
In a ground-breaking collaboration, Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) and INOX Air Products (INOXAP) have opened India’s first green hydrogen facility, designed especially for the float glass sector. The project, which is part of AIS’s new complex in Soniyana, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, will use solar energy to electrolyze up to 190 tons of green hydrogen a year; the first phase will create 95 tons.
Ricardo increases hydrogen capacity
In the worldwide maritime industry, Ricardo has increased its hydrogen capacity by assisting clients with the design, development, and testing of large-scale propulsion systems.
After doubling the capacity of its £2.5 million ($3.1 million) hydrogen test facility in Shoreham-by-Sea, UK, the business will start testing multi-stack fuel cell technology.
The site’s existing building will be transformed to accommodate the company’s delivery of hydrogen and fuel cell services and solutions as well as the development of testing for large-scale marine engines.
Tenaris presents new sealing solution for hydrogen storage
THeraTM Seal is a new sealing solution for high-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage that Tenaris will introduce at the World Hydrogen 2024 Summit & Exhibition, which takes place from May 13–15 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, at the Rotterdam Ahoy complex.
Experts from Tenaris will be on hand at booth E70 to share details about the newest offering in the THeraTM family of brands, which includes materials technology designed specifically for hydrogen applications.
