Envision Energy International and AM Green, a hydrogen and green ammonia venture affiliated with the Greenko Group, have joined forces.
The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed during the World Economic Forum’s Annual Summit in Davos, Switzerland, marks a pivotal step in manufacturing wind turbines and driving green hydrogen projects.
The MOU outlines a strategic partnership focusing on the manufacturing, supply, and servicing of wind turbines tailored to meet AM Green’s clean energy projects’ specifications in India. Leveraging their respective strengths, AM Green commits to an offtake of at least 2 gigawatts (GW) of capacity per year for the next three years. This substantial commitment underscores the shared vision of both companies to contribute significantly to global decarbonization efforts.
The manufacturing alliance is a crucial component of AM Green’s broader strategy to establish a robust supply chain for high-quality, cost-effective wind turbines in India. By securing such partnerships, AM Green aims to ensure an economically efficient and reliable 24×7 power supply for its green molecule plants across the country.
Beyond wind turbine manufacturing, the collaboration extends to the realm of green hydrogen projects and the development of net-zero industrial parks. Both companies will pool their technical expertise to formulate green hydrogen industrial standards, contributing to the maturation of this burgeoning sector.
