In order to establish several decentralized green hydrogen production facilities in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Amplus Solar and the Andhra Pradesh government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
With an expenditure of Rs 15 billion (including on-site hydrogen production plants and off-site wind and solar energy plants), the business plans to build 7.5 green hydrogen facilities for industrial use in Andhra Pradesh.
Ocior Energy India Private Limited recently declared its intention to build a 1 MTPA green ammonia plant in Andhra Pradesh. 400 billion rupees will be invested in the project’s execution. With reference to the projected investment for the state’s green hydrogen and ammonia project, it has signed an MoU with the government of Andhra Pradesh.
The Kerala government also unveiled a Rs 2 billion plan in February 2023 to build green hydrogen hubs in Trivandrum and Kochi. This program has been made public in order to develop green hydrogen centers over the next two years through grant, equity, and viability gap funds.
