French companies Assystem and DORIS have joined forces through a collaboration agreement to leverage their expertise in the fields of low-carbon hydrogen and offshore power grids.

This strategic partnership aims to combine Assystem’s proficiency in engineering and project management with DORIS’ extensive experience in process engineering and offshore knowledge. Together, they seek to provide integrated engineering services to accelerate the energy transition and combat climate change. The agreement was formalized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the presence of esteemed representatives, highlighting the importance of this collaboration.

The collaboration between Assystem and DORIS marks a significant step forward in the development of low-carbon hydrogen and offshore power grids. By pooling their expertise, the two companies aim to offer comprehensive engineering solutions that cover the entire project lifecycle, from design to implementation. This holistic approach is crucial for the successful deployment of sustainable energy solutions and supports the global efforts to transition towards a low-carbon future.

Assystem’s strength lies in its engineering capabilities, digital technology expertise, and project management skills in the electricity sector. On the other hand, DORIS brings deep knowledge of process engineering and offshore operations to the table. By combining these strengths, the collaboration can deliver a diverse range of services and tackle the challenges associated with low-carbon hydrogen and offshore power grids effectively.

Both companies are committed to leveraging state-of-the-art digital solutions to address the unique demands of low-carbon hydrogen and offshore power grids. These advanced technical capabilities, coupled with strong project management expertise, will enable the development of innovative and efficient solutions. By embracing digitalization, Assystem and DORIS can optimize project execution, enhance safety measures, and maximize the overall performance of low-carbon energy infrastructure.

The collaboration between Assystem and DORIS aligns with the goals of the energy transition and the fight against climate change. Low-carbon hydrogen is a key element in decarbonizing various sectors, including transportation and industry. Offshore power grids, on the other hand, offer significant potential for renewable energy generation and distribution. By combining their efforts, Assystem and DORIS can contribute to the acceleration of these crucial initiatives, enabling a more sustainable and resilient energy future.

The collaboration agreement was inked in the presence of Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister for Energy Transition, and Ludovic Pouille, Ambassador of France to Saudi Arabia, underscoring the importance of the partnership. Ambassador Pouille emphasized that this collaboration will enable the companies to capitalize on the opportunities presented by Saudi Arabia’s low-carbon hydrogen sector. The Kingdom’s commitment to clean energy initiatives creates a favorable environment for the deployment of innovative solutions, making this collaboration all the more significant.
