Unveiled last September, the mobile hydrogen refill station developed by the Savoy-based company Atawey is now available on the market.
With a distribution capacity of up to 150 kg of hydrogen, it integrates an internal compression unit and can be put into service in only half a day.
Announced in September 2021, Atawey’s first mobile station will have taken only eight months to come out of the production workshops of the company, an expert in green hydrogen refueling stations in France, based in Savoie Technolac, in Le Bourget-du-Lac. Atawey’s 15 R&D engineers and 10 production technicians succeeded in meeting the production deadlines for this technological innovation, which facilitates the distribution of large quantities of hydrogen and enhances its supply, regardless of the pressure required.
Light vehicles but also buses, trucks, utilities, snow groomers…
With its distribution capacity of 150 kg of hydrogen per day and a hydrogen source pressure of 200 to 500 bars, the station can recharge light vehicles as well as buses, trucks, forklifts, garbage trucks, utility vehicles, boats, snow groomers, etc.
The Atawey mobile hydrogen station can be mobilized in less than half a day and has been designed to be installed quickly and used independently by the operator. It can be easily transported on a trailer and its resistance to shocks has been specifically designed to meet the problems of transportation. Automatic” tests of procedures allow the operator to configure the station in a very short time and in complete autonomy. Intuitive control screens simplify the daily management of the station.

The mobile station is designed for project owners who are waiting for a permanent station or for more temporary needs: construction sites with a need for hydrogen, events, seasonal uses such as boating or ski areas, vehicle development and testing for manufacturers, hydrogen vehicle demonstrations in a given area, etc.
“The mobile station we are launching today is a new step in our technological development. Our R&D team is working hard to be able to offer a 700 bar version of the mobile station as early as 2023. We are also finalizing a high-capacity Evolving Charging Station.
