Empati, an artificial intelligence startup, aims to investigate the viability of employing distributed green hydrogen generation to fuel vehicle fleets.
The work was commissioned by the US-based corporation in the form of a study, which Black & Veatch completed.
Black & Veatch will conduct an economic, logistical, and technological assessment of onsite, on-demand hydrogen production as a fuel for fleet operators as part of this.
Black & Veatch hopes that by releasing the paper, they will be able to prove that small-scale distributed hydrogen production at the point of use is a feasible alternative for obtaining competitive pricing points.
The research will be conducted in conjunction with a collaborative endeavor to integrate Empati’s AI platform with Black & Veatch’s Asset 360 platform.
