A hydrogen refueling station (HRS) for forklifts is currently being manufactured by the Calvera Industrial Group, which is in charge of the entire process, from engineering to full development, and has the highest supply capacity in the market.

Due to its adaptability and dispensing speed, which can reach 120 forklifts every 24 hours, this equipment is well-suited to meet current customer needs as well as those that may arise from a predictable increase in demand.

The forklift industry was one of the first to show that hydrogen and fuel cell technology for mobility can be viable and profitable without grant support. There are numerous technological advantages to this vehicle, such as the fact that conventional electric batteries, which are heavy, take a long time to recharge and gradually lose performance as they run low on charge, are eliminated. Hydrogen forklifts, on the other hand, can be refueled in a matter of minutes and deliver maximum performance for the duration of the shift.

After producing small and medium-sized HRS geared toward forklifts for the foreign market, Calvera has shown that it continues to lead innovation in the development of equipment that facilitates global hydrogen consumption by manufacturing this new project.

Currently, the Calvera Group is Spain’s sole and leading supplier of hydrogen refueling stations (HRS), a position it has attained through its decades of experience in the design and manufacture of high-pressure hydrogen equipment.

The Zaragoza-based firm’s most recent accomplishment represents a technological milestone in Spanish industry. The first 700 bar hydrogen refueling station for cars in Spain (Madrid) has been manufactured and delivered by Calvera, who have also standardised it internationally. As a result of the regulations in place and the extensive technical knowledge of hydrogen required, this is one of the most challenging parts of the project.
