Canadian Solar has begun mass production of high-power, high-efficiency modules with up to 665 W of power output.

The latest generation of monofacial HiKu7 and bifacial BiHiKu7 modules are built on 210 mm cells and are expected to provide one of the industry’s lowest levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) by lowering balance of system (BOS) and other costs for solar power plants. These modules have been optimized with leading tracker and inverter designs to ensure smooth solar system implementation.

The HiKu7 and BiHiKu7 modules’ nameplate output capability will hit 10 GW by the end of 2021, with a large portion already booked. The first batch of the latest high-power, high-efficiency modules will be delivered by the company this month.
