Air Liquide and CNOOC have completed the world’s longest shipment of liquid hydrogen, marking a significant milestone in clean energy transportation.
The shipment involved moving insulated tanks filled with liquid hydrogen from Rotterdam, Europe, all the way to the port of Yantian in China, covering an impressive distance of more than 20,000 kilometers.
The liquid hydrogen was meticulously transported using insulated tanks, ensuring the cargo remained at the necessary low temperatures throughout the journey. Once the shipment arrived at the port of Yantian, the tanks were carefully unloaded onto container trucks for further distribution.
