Crowdhelix, a prominent global innovation network, has unveiled its latest initiative – the Hydrogen Helix. This innovative platform aims to harness the collective expertise of leading researchers, industry pioneers, and policymakers across the hydrogen value chain to catalyze innovation in hydrogen technologies.
The Hydrogen Helix has been thoughtfully curated to fast-track the impact, dissemination of research, and exploitation of innovative ideas within the hydrogen sector. With a collective goal of contributing to a low-carbon society, this platform equips Hydrogen Helix members with a rich spectrum of resources, including access to funding opportunities, networking events, and collaborative tools.
Browne further underscores the Hydrogen Helix’s role in driving innovation by bringing together the foremost minds in the industry to expedite the evolution of hydrogen technologies and solutions.
At the helm of the Hydrogen Helix stands Professor Junwang Tang from University College London. Revered globally for his expertise in material chemistry and engineering, Professor Tang also spearheads the GH2 project. This Horizon Europe and Innovate UK-funded research initiative will serve as an anchor for the Hydrogen Helix, uniting a diverse consortium of partners from nine countries.
This project amalgamates expertise from research institutes like Max-Planck Institute, University of Naples, University of Hong Kong, ETH Zurich, University College London, Leitat, and innovation professionals from Crowdhelix. Such synergistic collaboration is poised to maximize the innovation potential of the GH2 project and, by extension, the entire Hydrogen Helix initiative.
The Hydrogen Helix is the latest addition to Crowdhelix’s array of Helix platforms, each focusing on diverse fields such as AI, biotech, and sustainability. With its established track record of enabling cross-disciplinary collaboration, Crowdhelix has already played a pivotal role in catalyzing innovative solutions and technologies. As the world races towards a sustainable energy future, the Hydrogen Helix emerges as a beacon of collaboration, poised to drive innovation in hydrogen technologies and chart a cleaner energy trajectory.
