At the Green Energy Research Center of Kangwon National University’s Samcheok Campus on the 20th, Donghae City’s mayor, Shim Gyu-eon, signed a “business agreement for the development of the hydrogen industry and fostering local talents” between the “next-generation hydrogen energy solution industry, academia, research institutes, and government.”
This MOU brings together the LINC 3.0 Project Group at Kangwon National University, the Hydrogen Safety Cluster Convergence Graduate School, the Samcheok Engineering Education Innovation Center, and the Smart Hydrogen Energy Project Group at Gangneung-Wonju University, the Energy Disaster Prevention Support Center at Gangwon Technopark, and Korea Industry. Ten organizations all took part, including the Donghae Branch of the Industrial Complex, the hydrogen industry-related MC, and the cities of Donghae and Samcheok.
Each institution has established an industry-academic-research-institute working-level council through this business agreement to: discover joint R&D tasks in the hydrogen field develop a hydrogen industry development program to foster local talents like student employment, field training, and internships hydrogen specialized company Cooperation in a variety of areas, such as encouraging and assisting businesses looking to switch industries, will be sought in order to promote the hydrogen industry.
