By leveraging advanced technology, the partnership turns this issue into an asset by converting these gas reserves into blue hydrogen. This process not only addresses methane and CO₂ emissions but also produces hydrogen, a clean fuel with the potential to transform various industries.
Double Zero Holdings and SJ Environmental employ a technology compact enough to fit into a standard shipping container. This method ensures that 100% of the CO₂ emissions are captured at the well site and stored safely, preventing any atmospheric release.
The production of blue hydrogen is vital for the ongoing energy transition, offering a low-carbon alternative for sectors like transportation, manufacturing, and power generation. By converting wasted natural gas into hydrogen, this partnership contributes to global net-zero carbon objectives.
