EDP Renováveis (EDPR) has reached an agreement with Ellaktor, the largest infrastructure company in Greece, to jointly grow the country’s onshore wind potential, putting together and integrating industrial expertise and capacity for growth.

The agreement envisages the joint development of a 900 MW wind portfolio, currently at various stages of development, in a country with attractive renewable prospects.

Through this alliance, on top of the 152 MW already contracted in recent wind auctions to start operations in 2021 and 2022, EDPR gains access to quality assets under construction and gains more growth exposure in the Greek market.
