Disfrimur and Scale Gas, an affiliate of Enagás, are collaborating to launch hydrogen trucks and a new hydrogen station network in Spain.

In accordance with the agreement, Scale Gas will refuel stations that are close to Disfrimur’s operational bases.

San Isidro (Alicante) will be the site of the first station, which is anticipated to open in 2024. The first 20 hydrogen-powered vehicles in the fleet will be able to get hydrogen thanks to it. There will be an additional 13 stations placed in regions where Disfrimur maintains bases of operations.

The agreement is a response to both businesses’ commitments to the decarbonization of transportation and the promotion of quality, cost-effective, and sustainable mobility. In order to provide its clients with customized logistics services with no carbon imprint, Disfrimur will add hydrogen to its portfolio of alternative fuels.
