Bangalore-based Enectron Energy Storage Systems Private Limited is stepping in with a new line of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) aimed at utility-scale and commercial-industrial applications, designed to provide scalable, reliable, and safe power solutions for a grid transitioning toward 100 percent clean energy.
Built on advanced lithium-based modules with intelligent control systems, Enectron’s BESS platforms integrate seamlessly with solar, wind, and grid sources, scaling from small industrial setups to multi-megawatt installations serving utilities, data centers, and microgrids. The company positions its systems as a practical bridge for India’s renewable ambitions, supporting the government’s target of 500 GW by 2030.
The new storage platforms have been developed in partnership with global OEMs, ensuring compliance with international safety and performance standards while maintaining cost efficiency. Enectron is actively engaging with EPC firms, independent power producers, and industrial clients to deploy more than 10 GWh of storage capacity across India in the coming years.
Analysts note that India’s rapid solar and wind expansion has highlighted the urgent need for large-scale, reliable energy storage. Recent studies indicate that without adequate storage infrastructure, grid stability could be compromised, curtailing renewable generation and forcing reliance on fossil fuel backup. Enectron’s focus on modular, scalable BESS systems directly addresses these operational and financial risks, offering utilities and industrial consumers both flexibility and predictability.
