Eolus has signed an agreement with Commerz Real concerning the selling of three wind farms with a combined installed capacity of 68 MW in southern Sweden.
The preliminary purchase price for the wind farms amounts to €82.5 million.
The deal includes all the shares of the three project companies holding project rights for the Boarp (24 MW) wind farms in the municipality of Vaggeryd, Dållebo (26 MW) in the municipality of Ulricehamn and Rosenskog (18 MW) in the municipality of Falköping, all located in southern Sweden.
The wind farms will be built by Eolus and the construction will initially be financed by Commerz Real through all equity investment. It is planned that the wind farms will be delivered in the autumn of 2023 to Commerz Real.
“The wind farms contribute to our international diversification and are an important step for further growth. They show our dedication to strengthen our position in the international renewable investment market.”
Jan-Peter Müller head of infrastructure investments at Commerz Real.
As part of the deal, Eolus was entrusted with the provision of technological, operational and administrative services to the wind farms in order to optimize the production and profitability of the wind farms.
