Everfuel A/S has recently inked a Letter of Intent (LoI) with a prominent industrial offtaker in Germany, paving the way for the supply of up to 10,000 tons of green hydrogen annually from 2028.
Aligned with Everfuel’s strategy, the LoI underscores the company’s commitment to delivering green hydrogen at scale to industrial clients. The scalability of the proposed 100 MW electrolyser reflects Everfuel’s tailored approach to meet evolving demand.
Jacob Krogsgaard, CEO of Everfuel, highlights the shared commitment between Everfuel and its German partner towards pioneering the hydrogen transition. The focus on material carbon emission reductions underscores the mutual long-term value creation envisioned by both parties.
Acknowledging Denmark’s significant potential for green hydrogen export, the German partner recognizes Everfuel’s strategic position. However, the success of the agreement hinges on the establishment of hydrogen pipeline infrastructure between Denmark and Germany.
RFNBO hydrogen is positioned as a critical enabler for decarbonizing industry and transport sectors in Germany, aligning with EU’s Renewable Energy Directive (RED II) targets. However, regulatory compliance and industry-wide adoption remain key challenges.
