ExxonMobil and Rosneft signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on evaluating the potential of lower-carbon technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The firms will assess the feasibility of new projects focusing on carbon collection, use, and storage, as well as the development of lower-carbon fuels like hydrogen and ammonia.
The Memorandum of Understanding was inked to extend the two firms’ collaboration and express their intention to undertake lower-carbon projects while also exchanging their respective knowledge and technical solutions in promising areas.
