Greek group buys stake in Australian hydrogen project
A 15 percent interest in an Australian business that promises to create green hydrogen using solar energy and use it for transportation has been acquired by the Greek industrial group Mytilineos SA.
Clara Energy, an Australian manufacturer of green hydrogen, is the owner of the 560-MW Rosedale project. Stage 1 of the Rosedale project, which aims to build a hydrogen generating facility in New South Wales, will be supported by Mytilineos SA.
Long-haul trucks and other vehicles that pass on the Hume Highway, a busy highway between Sydney and Melbourne, will be powered by solar energy at the facility.
Russian Hydrogen buys Donbiotech property
According to the protocols posted on the Alfalot trading website, the Moscow firm “Russian Hydrogen” won the auction in which the shares of “Donbiotech” (an incomplete factory for deep processing of grain in the Rostov region) were sold. According to Kommersant, the process involved converting the company’s assets into shares of the newly formed Don Biotechnologies JSC in the amount of more than 11 million at a nominal cost of 1,000 rubles each. The transaction protocol shows that Russian Hydrogen paid 7.17 billion rubles for all 10 lots of shares.
According to the information from the Rusprofile counterparty verification system, “Russian Hydrogen” was registered in 2021. The Fin-Partner management firm founded the company, which primarily engages in the wholesale trading of industrial chemicals. President Vladimir Putin placed 757,343 thousand (47%) of the federally owned ordinary shares of the Bashkir Soda Company (BCS) into the trust administration of Russian Hydrogen in the middle of April. Eduard Davydov, the general director of Russian Hydrogen, also serves in the same capacity for BCS, Berezniki Soda Plant, and Bashkhim Trading House.
