Feasibility study launched by Swedish partners to build hydrogen and biofuels value chain

A feasibility study to build a hydrogen and biofuels value chain in Västerbotten has been signed by Boliden, Nevel, Skellefteå Kraft, and Sveaskog in Sweden. Enabling the phase-out of fossil fuel that is now utilized in processes at the Rönnskär smelter is one of the objectives of the extension.


Premier spotlights Sarawak at European hydrogen forum

Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg gave policy officials and business leaders in Central Europe an in-depth look at Sarawak’s proactive approaches to addressing climate change on Wednesday.

Speaking at a discussion at the Central European Hydrogen Technology Forum in Poland, Abang Johari stated that Sarawak is setting an example for the rest of the world by adopting sustainable technology and all-encompassing green policies in the face of severe environmental concerns.


D2Zero broadens leadership team

D2Zero, a group providing decarbonization and clean energy solutions, recently announced a significant expansion of its team to better handle the task of decarbonizing and promoting clean, sustainable energy solutions.

The new appointees include Jeff Corray as the Chief Financial Officer for the group. Jeff, previously the CEO at ITS Energy Services and a partner at KPMG, brings in extensive expertise from an advisory, industry, and private equity perspective.

Completing the executive appointments is new Chief Commercial Officer Angus McIntosh. Angus is a veteran in the industry, having spent 17 years at SGN and also having served as a senior advisor on hydrogen at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.

Non-Executive Directors Henry Cubbon and Dr. Valentina Kretzschmar join the Board. In their previous roles, Henry served as the President of LPG under DCC plc, a FTSE 100 Group, while Valentina was the Energy Transition Director for Capricorn Energy plc, a FTSE 250 Group.
