Aqaba hosts second green hydrogen roundtable meeting
On Thursday in Aqaba, Jordan, the second roundtable meeting for possible investors in the country’s green hydrogen industry got underway.
Attendees included government agencies, foreign financiers, donors interested in green hydrogen, and Nayef Fayez, Chairperson of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. The meeting was hosted by Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The first investor meeting, which took place in March of last year and featured fruitful conversations with partners to progress these projects in Jordan, is what Kharabsheh mentioned as the reason for this meeting’s success.
He was appreciative of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority for making it possible for him to see locations designated for green hydrogen initiatives in the area.
