Funds investing in worldwide hydrogen-related enterprises are being introduced in Korea for the first time.
The Korea Exchange is likely to offer the third theme-based exponential funds (ETFs) such as hydrogen and electric cars on a securities exchange.
According to the exchange, the new listing is ‘KBSTAR Global Hydrogen Economic INDXX’Hanwha Global Hydrogen Economic INDXX’Hanwha Assets’ ‘Arirang Global Hydrogen & Next Generation Fuel Cell MV’ Korea Investment Trust Operation’ETF.
Hydrogen ETF is Korea’s first exchange-traded fund (ETF) dedicated to hydrogen-related worldwide enterprises.
The KBSTAR Global Hydrogen Economic InDXX Funds track the ‘INDXX Hydrogen Economy Index,’ which includes 30 global companies in the Hydrogen Value Zone industry.
Arirang Global Hydrogen & Next Generation Fuel Cells MV Fund is benchmarked to the “Bluestar Hydrogen and NextGen Fuel Cell Index,” which includes 25 global firms involved in hydrogen energy and fuel cells for key advanced economies.
The electric car and autonomous mileage ETF invests in core firms in the United States and China that are associated with the Mobility Value Champion, such as electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and sharing. It is an actively managed ETF that seeks to achieve the estimated exponential earnings prior the actual earnings realization. The index is calculated in accordance with the ‘FactSet United States-China Electric and Autonomous Vehicle Price Return Index’.
